EDELIA GLOBAL β€” Study Abroad & Work Abroad Consultancy

Welcome to EDELIA GLOBAL. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, consultancy services, application support, documentation assistance and related services for international education and overseas employment opportunities.

By submitting an enquiry, purchasing a service or signing an EDELIA Service Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms applicable to your engagement.

1. About EDELIA GLOBAL

EDELIA GLOBAL provides consultancy, information, documentation guidance and coordination services in two principal areas:

Study Abroad

  • University and educational institution selection guidance.
  • Course and destination counselling.
  • Admission application and enrolment coordination.
  • Language course guidance.
  • Documentation preparation and application support.
  • Student visa guidance and pre-departure assistance.

Work Abroad

  • Information about overseas employment opportunities.
  • Profile assessment and eligibility guidance.
  • Job application and employer coordination, where applicable.
  • Documentation and work-permit process guidance.
  • Visa application guidance and travel coordination.
  • Pre-departure and other agreed support services.

The exact services provided depend on the package selected and the written Service Agreement issued to the client.

EDELIA GLOBAL is an independent consultancy and is not a government authority, embassy, visa-issuing body, university or employer unless a specific written agreement expressly states otherwise.

2. Consultancy Role and MEA Compliance

EDELIA GLOBAL provides consultancy, information, documentation assistance and application coordination services within the scope of its agreed engagements.

EDELIA GLOBAL does not represent that it is a recruiting agent registered with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) unless such registration is expressly documented and applicable.

The requirement for registration under the Emigration Act, 1983 depends on the nature of the activities actually performed. The description of a business as a consultancy does not, by itself, determine whether registration is required.

Where an engagement involves overseas recruitment or another regulated activity requiring registration, authorisation or a permit under applicable Indian law, that activity will be undertaken only through a legally compliant arrangement, including an appropriately registered recruiting agent or authorised foreign employer where required.

EDELIA GLOBAL’s consultancy services do not independently guarantee employment, employer selection, a work permit, emigration clearance or a visa.

3. Study Abroad Consultancy

EDELIA GLOBAL assists students in exploring educational opportunities and coordinating applications to universities, colleges, language schools and other institutions.

Our services may include:

  • Course and institution selection guidance.
  • Application preparation and submission coordination.
  • Admission documentation and checklist support.
  • Enrolment and fee-payment coordination.
  • Guidance regarding financial documentation and student visa applications.
  • Pre-departure guidance, where included.

Admission decisions are made by the relevant educational institution. EDELIA GLOBAL cannot guarantee admission, a scholarship, a particular course outcome or a specific admission date.

Institutions may change their entry requirements, tuition fees, application deadlines, course availability and admission policies. Students remain responsible for reviewing their offer letters, institutional terms and payment obligations.

Any admission-related fees paid directly to an institution are subject to that institution’s own refund and cancellation policies.

4. Work Abroad Consultancy

EDELIA GLOBAL provides guidance and coordination relating to overseas employment opportunities, subject to applicable laws and the agreed scope of services.

Job descriptions, salary figures, locations, working hours, accommodation arrangements and benefits shared during initial discussions are indicative unless confirmed in authoritative written employment documentation.

An enquiry, profile assessment or CV submission does not constitute a job offer or guarantee employment.

The employer makes the final hiring decision. Work permits, visas, residence permits and any required emigration clearances are subject to the relevant authorities and applicable law.

Where recruitment or placement activities require a particular registration or authorisation, the relevant activity must be conducted through a legally compliant arrangement.

5. Scope of Services and Package Inclusions

Before a client commits to a paid service, EDELIA GLOBAL will communicate the applicable package, service scope, fees and payment milestones.

Depending on the selected programme, services may include counselling, application coordination, documentation assistance, employer or institution coordination, visa-process guidance, insurance coordination, travel arrangements, accommodation coordination and post-arrival assistance.

Only the services expressly included in the applicable package description or written Service Agreement are included in the agreed fee.

Clients should obtain written confirmation of any important inclusion, exclusion or additional charge before making a payment or commitment to a third party.

6. Fees, Invoices and Payment Methods

All EDELIA service fees and payment milestones will be communicated through official channels.

Clients should make payments only through the official payment methods specified by EDELIA GLOBAL and should retain the relevant invoice, transaction reference and receipt.

Where an invoice ID, application reference or payment reference is required, it must be entered correctly so that the payment can be matched to the relevant client and service.

Payments made without prior coordination, without the required invoice ID, or through an unverified account or payment channel may require additional investigation and reconciliation. This may delay payment confirmation or commencement of the relevant service while the transaction is verified.

Clients should contact EDELIA GLOBAL with their transaction reference and proof of payment if a payment is not acknowledged.

A payment receipt confirms the payment transaction only. It does not, by itself, confirm admission, employment, a work permit or visa approval.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility, cancellation conditions and applicable deductions will be specified in the relevant Service Agreement or written refund policy.

The applicable terms may depend on:

  • The service purchased.
  • The stage of processing.
  • Services already performed.
  • Work completed by EDELIA GLOBAL.
  • Non-recoverable third-party commitments.
  • The reason for cancellation or inability to proceed.
  • Applicable legal requirements.

Where a refund is applicable, it will be calculated and processed according to the agreed terms and applicable law.

University tuition fees, application fees, government fees, embassy fees, visa-centre fees, insurance premiums, courier charges and other third-party payments are subject to the refund policies of the relevant institution, authority or provider. EDELIA GLOBAL cannot guarantee a refund of payments that a third party does not permit to be refunded.

If an application cannot proceed, an institution withdraws an offer, an employer withdraws a vacancy or a visa is refused, the available options and any refund eligibility will be assessed under the applicable Service Agreement and relevant third-party terms.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes any consumer or refund rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Processing Times and External Delays

Any admission, documentation, appointment, visa, work-permit, residence-permit or travel timelines communicated by EDELIA GLOBAL are estimates based on the information available at the time.

Actual timelines may change depending on:

  • Universities and educational institutions.
  • Employers and recruitment partners.
  • Embassies, consulates and visa centres.
  • Government authorities and permit-issuing bodies.
  • Document verification or additional requirements.
  • Appointment availability.
  • Courier, insurance, airline and other service providers.

EDELIA GLOBAL does not control the internal processing schedules or decisions of these organisations and cannot guarantee completion within an estimated timeframe.

Where reasonably possible, EDELIA GLOBAL will communicate material updates and continue providing the services included in the agreed engagement.

9. Visa, Admission and Government Decisions

All visa, admission, work-permit and residence-permit decisions are made by the relevant institution, employer or competent authority.

EDELIA GLOBAL may assist with documentation, guidance and coordination but cannot guarantee approval, a specific decision date or a particular outcome.

Clients must provide accurate and genuine information and must review the documents submitted on their behalf. False documents, omissions or inaccurate information may result in refusal, cancellation or other consequences under applicable law.

Any further application, appeal, reapplication or additional service required after a refusal is subject to the relevant rules and may involve additional fees where agreed in advance.

10. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and genuine information.
  • Submit valid and authentic documents.
  • Disclose relevant information affecting eligibility.
  • Respond to reasonable requests for documents or clarification.
  • Attend appointments and interviews when required.
  • Review applications and documents before submission.
  • Pay agreed fees and separately payable charges by the specified deadlines.
  • Follow the laws, visa conditions and contractual obligations applicable to their destination.

Delays resulting from incomplete documentation, inaccurate information, missed appointments or failure to respond may affect the process and estimated timelines.

11. Third-Party Services

EDELIA GLOBAL may coordinate with independent universities, employers, recruitment partners, government authorities, embassies, visa centres, insurers, accommodation providers, airlines, courier companies and other service providers.

Their requirements, prices, availability, procedures and decisions may change. EDELIA GLOBAL is responsible for the services it has expressly agreed to provide, but does not control independent third-party decisions or internal processing times.

Any third-party services included in a package, and any third-party charges payable separately, should be confirmed in writing.

12. Travel, Accommodation and Post-Arrival Support

Flight tickets, airport transfers, accommodation, insurance, registration assistance, residence-permit coordination and post-arrival support are included only where expressly stated in the applicable package or Service Agreement.

Clients should not assume that these services are included merely because they were discussed generally or may be available through a third party.

Any material inclusion, exclusion or separately payable expense should be confirmed before the relevant commitment or payment.

13. Communications and Payment Security

Clients should use EDELIA GLOBAL’s official contact details and payment channels.

Unexpected requests to transfer money to personal accounts or unverified third parties should be independently confirmed with EDELIA GLOBAL before payment.

If a payment discrepancy or suspected unauthorised request occurs, clients should provide the relevant transaction details so that the matter can be reviewed.

Payment investigations may require additional supporting documents and may take additional time depending on the payment provider and the nature of the discrepancy.

14. Personal Information and Documents

Personal information and documents may be processed to assess eligibility, deliver the agreed services, coordinate applications, communicate with relevant institutions or employers, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Where sharing documents with a university, employer, recruitment partner, service provider or authority is necessary for the requested service, EDELIA GLOBAL will handle the information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Clients should provide only the information reasonably required for their application and should not send passwords, banking PINs or unnecessary security credentials.

15. Limitation of Responsibility

EDELIA GLOBAL will provide the services expressly agreed with the client with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.

EDELIA GLOBAL does not guarantee outcomes determined by independent employers, universities, embassies, visa centres or government authorities.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable obligations.

Any additional limitation of responsibility applicable to a specific package will be governed by the relevant Service Agreement and applicable law.

16. Changes to Services and Terms

Institutional requirements, employment opportunities, government procedures, third-party fees and processing requirements may change.

Where a change materially affects an existing engagement, EDELIA GLOBAL will communicate the relevant information when reasonably possible and address its impact under the Service Agreement and applicable law.

Updates to website Terms & Conditions will apply from the stated effective date, subject to existing contractual commitments and applicable legal requirements.

17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Clients are encouraged to contact EDELIA GLOBAL first if they have a concern regarding a service, payment, document, timeline or refund.

Please provide your name, invoice ID or application reference, a description of the issue and relevant supporting documents so that the matter can be reviewed.

If a concern cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to the applicable dispute-resolution process or competent authority in accordance with the Service Agreement and applicable law.

18. Governing Law

The law and competent forum applicable to a particular engagement will be identified in the relevant Service Agreement, subject to mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to the client or transaction.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
